The Romanians and the Hungarian speaking Romanian nationals are generally very hardworking people despite the bad press they receive overseas. In Bucharest, where the cost of living is more akin to other Western European Cities, the average wage is around 400 euros per month.
Romanians and Hungarians place great store by family values and spend a lot of time eating and drinking together as families, they love good food and outdoor life with camping and barbecues playing a great part in their lives. Generally children are very polite and well behaved
Even people who are on moderate incomes in the UK can enjoy a good standard of living here - if you have an income of around a 1000 euros a month (£670) you should be able to live well. The countryside is beautiful and it is possible to walk for miles in clean fresh surroundings.
Allover the country there are numerous English speaking organisation's that can help with all aspects of life. You can for example find English speaking architects, surveyors, lawyers, and notaries. The property ownership/purchase process is relatively simple and, provided documents are in order, you can complete your purchase very quickly. Above all provided you follow the necessary checking process it's probably one of the safest procedures in Europe.
Great People, Great Food, and above all a Great Place to live!
We hope to see you soon!
